Sound like to me that need more freon there is a few ways of doing this so best way is with car running with gauge ac on it should read in the green part of your gauge if you have a gauge from a normal freon can from walmart ect. even so its in the green you might have more air then freon on the system and might have to take it to some place that does ac and ask them to re run it through so they can take the air out also vechicals have a orifice tube that can dirty and slow down things like cooler temps and this is helps remove air from your system lask i check so that might be somthing to look into also if you change this you should have the car refilled with freon for a profionnal to get your maxmal proformace from your ac not ouf of a can you can also have them put dye in there to find leaks to save you money in the long run good luck

What are the specific ac temperature gauge readings on 2011 buick across?

The low side reading will usually correspond with the dash temp,45 lbs at low side should equal 45 degrees f at the dash with a medium fan speed and 70 to 80 degrees f outside temp with a good air flow through the condenser.(fan placed in front of vehicle).

Does the system have a leak? If it does, then the computer might have set a low freon code that usually does not turn on the check engine light by itself. If this occurs, the code will have to be erased before the compressor will run. The computer does this in order to protect the compressor so that it cannot run without enough freon in the system. Once you correct the amount of freon in the system (if it needs it), reset the system and see if the compressor will run. Some parts stores have the ability to erase codes and will usually do it for free. I hope this solves your problem. It's definitely not good to have AC problems this time of year. Thanks for trying Fixya.com.

Ac was working fine the night before. left the next mornng ac clutch will not engage. system was checked. freon pressure is good. checked fuses, all good . checked ac clutch fuse under hood . ok. replaced...

Check the low switch by the dryer or accumulator, its a long narrow cannister,

it will have a pressure switch attached to it or near it. put your, ac on high,

pull the molex off the switch and jump the molex with a wire or paperclip,

if the compressor comes on and the ac starts to cool, you will just need

to replace the low pressure switch, if the clutch does not come on,

check the low switch molex to see if there is 12vlts there. good luck!

A./C. doesn't work even with a jumper wire on the low pressure sw

Howdy,
If your AC system is low on Freon, the system goes into a no run mode. If you disconnect your battery for a few minuets the computer resets itself. Then the Freon level can be checked by a friendly shop. Might find it low. Good Luck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My air conditionerblows hot on driver side. cold on passenger side why

If the ac system is not low on freon, then a actuator motor, that controls temp on that side is not working.Replacing the actuator motor is a good job for someone,so you may not want to tackle it yourself. But get the freon checked to see if it may be low.

Blinking or chattering of the compressor clutch usually indicates low "freon" charge.
