The 2010 Dodge Caliber O2 sensor wiring has four wires: two white, one gray, and one black. The wires are typically color-coded, so you should be able to match them up with the wires on the replacement O2 sensor.
Here is how the wires are typically connected:
White wire: Sensor signal wire
White wire with black stripe: Sensor signal ground wire
Gray wire: Heater power supply
Black wire: Heater ground
You can use a multimeter to confirm the correct wires if you're unsure.
When that code shows up, it normally means that the O2 sensor is bad, or there is a bad connection or burnt wire. All of which are corrected with replacement of the O2 sensor.
look under truck and follow exhaust system from front towards rear the o2 sensor 2 is the sensor after he cat converter it looks like a tube with a wire connection mounted on top of exhaust pipe disconnect connection and unscrew sensor replace and reconnect
The pink and black-white wires are for the heater, the other two are for the sensor circuit. If you can tell me which sensor I can get the colors for you.
You have an incorrect O2 sensor. It will not work. A correct sensor will plug in without any problem. If you bought the sensor at a parts store, you need to return it, and exchange it for the right part.
Follow the exhaust pipe to beyond the catalytic converter. The "rear" or down stream O2 sensor is usually on top of pipe behind the converter. Follow the wire from it to its disconnect plug andf unplug it. Use the correct size open end wrench to remove the sensor. Reverse to istall replacement. You really don't need a diagram - just your mark 1 eyeballs.
your o2 sensor hooks into your exhaust system. where it goes into the exhaust their will be a wire connector somewhere close by unless it melted away or is gone you wont see where it goes into the computer
it might be easier picking up a plug at a salvage yard then just connect to the correct colors,if you have four wires two should be black and two white,
