You can see a lot of options.

But My ADVICE is : Go to any autopart and BUY the Repair
Manual, Haynes or Chilton, You will pay Around $ 20.00
And maybe you will need on further Reapir.
And you will have at the right moment that you need.

BUT If you don't want to spend money.

check the fusible links on the starter solenoid, pull on them and if they stretch, they are bad.

go to www.fleet.ford.com and navigate the site to find your owners manual, the fuse info is in that

check the ignition fuse.the glow plugs need to be on or the engine will not start.
there are many systems on that truck and it should be left to a mechanic with a scan tool.
there are far too many systems to mess around with.
