I am getting the check VSC system message and the engin ,4LO & Slippery when wet icons are permanently on , I took it to the agency, they say they have auto checked and they said there are multiple things to be changed which will cost me around 15,000 AED which is equivalent to 4109 DOLLAR
Can you get there list or a new read out and post it please.
here you go
These are the things which were suggested by service provider to be replaced. Please note before I get the message I refueled the car and because it was raining heavily there were water pools everywhere on the roads and my sister did not realize that she was coming across one she pushed the brake hardly. The next day I got this message

right ive looked into this for you, there are no problems. the system does this. what you need to do to remove this is. make sure you have your radio code to hand as you will need it after. vehicle stability control system, when the brake was applied. the system failed at some point. well it thinks it did but did not. or you would not of stopped its a software problem . to remove the fault you need to remove the vehicle battery for an hour or so. this should rest it. this is why you need the code for the radio etc you have that needs a code somtime you need to reset the fob to but this dont happen very often and its easy to re do ( key in ignition number 2 press fob to close doors and then press again to open done) now i have not check to see if there is an update for this system yet or if there every will be. it is supposed to just shut the engine down as it thinks you had an accident. but the system sometimes get confused. so remove the battery and it should rest.
Dear Russ Hill yesterday i did take the battery out and left for 20 min or so and it was fine nothing was showing, but today when i started the car all icons came back again. So pls let me know if you still want me to try your solution. thanks
has to be for an hour or so. this is what the dealer garages have done and it has worked. 20 min is not long has to drain the computer capacitors. if it does not work then you will need to have the code read to find what problem it has but it will be something simple. if the light came on and the car had not moved just started then it has not used and of the sensor reading from this start and is still using the old ones. there is also a lot of people that just drive round with this on. as long as the abs airbags and no engine problems its fine for them.you can get your self a cheap code reader and check what problems you have or may have in the future.they are cheaper than taking it to a garage to have it done obd reader.

SOURCE: LS430 check VSC light on after check engine light on
My car (06 GS430) began giving me more frequent "Check VSC" warnings. (Code P0455 in my case. Really glad I bought that OBDII tool--resetting the codes is a snap!)
I knew that a loose gas cap could cause this, so normally I just give it a twist and it tightens. Now I found that no matter how many "clicks" I tightened the gas cap, it would not cinch down snug. The lightest turn the opposite way would open it.
I was all set to head over to CarQuest for a replacement filler cap. But I thought I'd inspect mine first just to see why it stopped holding. Upon inspection, I saw that what holds the cap in place is compression of the rubber O-ring at the back of the cap, which compresses against the filler neck. That apparently was no longer happening.
I carefully removed the O-ring from the cap--using screwdrivers to lift it over the edge of the groove it sits in. Like removing a bike tire from the rim--work your way around. Then I cut a strip of electrical tape about 10" long, and 1/4" wide. I wound this into the curved groove where the O-ring normally sits, just to build up a little thickness. Put the O-ring back in place. Done.
Now the cap tightens like it's supposed to, and thus far, it has stopped the VSC error codes. Don't know if it will fix your issue or not, Good luck.

go to auto zone, advanced autoparts, or a certified mechanic and ask if they can reset the codes, it should be free

First check and make sure your gas cap is tight, if this does not resolve the problem read below.
A vacuum hose has become disconnected, more than likely due to having your air filter replaced. The VSC and Check engine light typically don't come on until after 150-200 miles after the vacuum hose was pulled out.
The fix: on the right-hand-side of the engine compartment behind the big plastic housing that holds the air filter you will find a black rubber hose that is not connected to anything. Squeeze the finger clamp on the hose and slide the hose back onto the half inch nipple on the back of the air filter's plastic housing.
In order for the VSC and Check engine light to be turned off, you will need to open the fuse box, right-side of the engine compartment, and pull the 20 amp EFI fuse for 10 seconds. This will reset the system. The fuse location is marked on the lid of the fuse box, also I believe the EFI fuse is the only 20 amp fuse
. This will help. Thanks, please keep updated. please do rate
the solution positively .thank you for using fixya
