2000 quest stopped while driving have replaced fuel pump and filter and crank shaft senor still won't start
I suspect you have a bad camshaft sensor. It is part of the distributor. To check, remove distributor cap and rotor (1 screw for rotor) and check for brown dust. If yes, remove slotted wheel and clean optical sensor. If car starts, you need a distributor.
Crank sensor has no affect on system. It is used for back up only.
Can you hear pump run for 5 seconds when you turn key on?

The crank sensor is a well known cause of no spark condition, it is most likely the real problem, the crankshaft sensor for a Jeep 2001 is located behind the starter, you have to remove the starter to gain access, even then it is hard to get at.

Try pulling the engine coolant temp sensor, They often crack not sure why but the ceramic tip cracks makes the car hard to start, or won't start, the car's idle may race while shifting gears, and often smokes. The sensor is on the right side of the engine when looking at it on the head. Easy to change and get too

this is the fuel pump itself that has failed, replace it. It is located inside the fuel tank and is sold as a module assembly about $675
BOSCH Part # 67935 {Fuel Pump Assembly}
or as just a pump which you splice into the old sender assembly fuel pump module for around $120
AIRTEX Part # E2314 {In Tank Electric Fuel Pump}
Strainer included with pump.

what system trouble codes are in memory? this is the very 1st thing u test, don't just throw parts at it, guessing is very expensive as you have now found out, have it tested by the dealer, you could have paid for a fix by now.
