Is this a hatchback? check the wiring, where it goes from the tailgate to the vehicle body, passed experience, continual opening and closing the tailgate causes the wiring to flex and break. The wiring is usually in a rubber sleeve.

SOURCE: rear break light will not go on but rear window break light will

The center light is not on the same circuit as the regular lights, so check fuses, bulbs, voltage and ground to sockets, and brake switch .

Where is the rear heater screen relay in a 2005 peugeot 307 1.6 110 hdi 5 door hatch

Sounds like a blown fuse...Check your fuse block for the rear window defroster...If it is OK, it might be that the leads to the window defroster have been broken by many openings and closings of the rear hatch.

Rear window heater faulty

If the problem is in the grid then the rear window must be replaced or the break in the grid found and repaired with a special kit. Get a 12 volt test light and probe the grid to see if it has power to it.

1997 lumina break light in back window works all park and signals work but no rear break lights is it a fuse

Did you check to see if the bulbs are any good? Is power reaching the bulbs? If not, why? Bad wire, bad fuse?

Until you find the problem assuming the bulbs are good, since the rear window brake light is good, you can always tap that hot line and run it to the hot of the bulb not working and now all will work.

Rear defrost not working

use a multi meter on each wire connection on the rear window or use a 12v bulb with the rear heater switched on and the key in the 3 position. if there is not any voltage or the bulb does not light the fuse will have gone. if it lights up then there is a break in the rear window heater which you can repair with a paint bought from any good car shop.

Rear defrost dont work on my 2006 chevy impala. Found relay but has no fuse. all fuses under hood are good and the ones on passinger side kick panel are good. light lites up on switch but no power at rear...

it works off heater fuse and has relay which you found and is good .the problem is a breake in the heating elements in the window. they can be fixed w/out replacing window . check each element in window w/ohm meter .put aluminum foil around the pos. lead on meter to check the wire.

Rear break light will not go on but rear window break light will

could be the light itself, the red brake wire that comes off the rear brake lights that feeds this stop light, sometimes things get shoved against this wire and its cut,or if it splits off in the frame,it could also be broken here too

Tail break lights don't work. Window break light does work however. Bulbs have been replaced.

Check the brake light fuse. The high mounted brake light (third brake light) is on a different circuit than the brake lights. Hope this helps.
