Have a 99 gallant gtz and throttle got stuck open at the intake plentum. Shut car off and didn't start again. Sounded like a buzzing noise when key was on but not started and shifting between park to reverse or neutral to drive. Asked a few people and they thought it could be a relay of some sort or the flywheel position sensor.could use some advise

SOURCE: 2006 Mitsubishi Eclipse won't start

Battery is dead... get a volt meter, jump the car and with the car running on its own power check the voltage, anything less than 12v could point to an alternator but a new battery is a better place to start. put it to you this way if the car shuts off while driving, then its your alt, and if its fine wen drivin but wont start back up... its all battery

SOURCE: auto trans... when first starting engine in

not completely sure it has something to do with the auto trans, but more likely the hydraulic lifters. the older cars used to have a fixed valve clearance with tappets, but now they use hydraulic lifters. the problem with these is if you don't change the oil at a regular interval or do alot of stop-start driving, the oil becomes sludgy and does not flow into the small tolerance holes in the lifters. the beautiful thing about oil is that it thins out as it gets hotter to a point, so as the engine warms up, the oil thins out and flows into the lifter hydraulically pumping them up and closing the gap, i would suggest to change the engine oil to manufacturer's specs and add a "lifter free" product, after a few weeks it will reduce dramatically

2002 pontiac montana will not start on its won, you have tio apply gas to it and it will start but once you realease your foot off the gas pedal the car shuts down again, when it shuts down you hear a

The buzz could be the fuel pump in the gas tank.
If it will run with the throttle open it could have an issue with the idle speed control valve or a dirty throttle body.
The computer controls idle speed by how much air enters the intake thru the valve.

I have a 99 Ford Superduty 7.3 Diesel. It is making a really bad grinding/screeching sound just after it starts and is warming up. It wouldn't ******* off all the way even after the key was turned

indicates that the starter motor is stuck in the ring gear
possibly faulty starter relay or starter solenoid
pull the starter as the pinion over ride clutch is probably damaged ( noise ) and have the start circuit and relay checked
have the starter bench tested for serviceability by an accredited auto electrician

2004 ford expolorer air conditioning will not stay on

I would suspect the AC compressor cycling switch (located in low pressure line from compressor) or a AC cutoff wide open throttle relay ( in under hood fuse and relay center) would be causing this problem.

Engine dies at idle. Engine sometimes sticks at 1500 rpm's. Engine always starts right up after engine dies. Maybe air regulator valve?

Pull air intake plentum off. Make sure that the throttle body butterfly is clean. If dirty you can get throttle body cleaner at Wal mart and local parts store. If the car does not have a throttle cable, it may be electronic working on a sensor. If so you have an electronic issue.

How do I change spark plugs on a 2005 Mazda MPV 3.0 liter engine?

I just changed plugs on my 05' you have to remove the intake plentum to gain acsess to the rear plugs. First remove plastic cover from top of engine, remove intake hose to throtle body, unplug electrical connections to sensors on plentum, unhook vaccum lines, there are two coolant lines that need to unhooked from underneth throttle body, remove plentum support bolts, one on back and one on right side towards rear, a flash light and a mirror is useful for locating these bolts, there is also two vaccumn lines on the very back off plentum that have to be removed. remove clip on back off plentum that secures the hose that goes across the side of the plentum. Remove the six hold down bolts on plentum, and remove plentum. Spark plugs are acsessed by removing the coil packs for each cylinder, simply remove each coil pack hold down bolt and remove coil, plugs are underneth coil packs, you will need a long extension and a 5/8 spark plug socket to remove plugs.

if you vehicle has a Vortec engine it's possible for and injector poppet to spring a leak , My $$'s on the fuel pressure regulator . it's underneath the plenum (under throttle plate) and to the rear of the injector spider . most times it leaks fuel into the rear cylinders

How old is the battery? Clean the connections, charge the battery. Try starting it. Get the battery tested at Autozone or some place like that.
