Change oil

Here is a tutorial on changing the oil in a 98 cirrus (I assume it would be the same on your car) : http://autoresource.internetautoguide.com/change-oil-98-chrysler-cirrus-3178.html

I have a 2000 Chrysler Cirrus. Check engine light came on and it has been just losing power.

Yes, the misses are cutting your power in half. The cylinders in the back half of the engine are not firing. The problem must be diagnosed to estimate repair costs. Possible causes are
1. Injector wiring harness cut or disconnected.
2. Major intake manifold gasket leak.
3. Camshaft slipped timing.

I have listed these in order of cost to repair, so have someone check for these conditions in the order above.

Need the firing order

I apologize for the late response...Due to the bad economic situation this site has had a substantial (+50%) increase in the number of questions being asked in the last four months.

Not sure if you have the 4 or 6 cylinder, so I've included both below:

For the 2.4L (4-cylinders):
Firing Order:
1-3-4-2
Cylinders:
1------2------3-------4
(front of vehicle)
Ignition Coil:
.............................<--------4---------
------1------->
.............................<--Connector
------2------->
.............................<--------3---------
...........(FRONT OF VEHICLE)

For the 2.5L (6-cylinders):
Firing Order:
1-2-3-4-5-6
Cylinders:
1------3------5
2------4------6
(front of vehicle)
Distributor:
...................5
........4
.............................3
........2
......................... 1
...............6
(FRONT OF VEHICLE)
