TO CHECK TRANMISION OIL YOU NEED TO OPEN A PLUG AT THE LEFT AXEL AT THE TRANSMISION THE TOP PLUG TO VERIFIED LEVEL AND THE LOWER PLUG TO DRAIN TRANSMISION OIL.

For some strange reason, these have no transmission dipstick. The manual states that you should bring it to an authorized Daewoo mechanic.

Sorry to say, but the transmission is a closed system.

WHERE DOES THE TRANSMISSION FLUID GO
Add transmission fluid down the transmission dip stick tube. Check on the fluid level whilst the engine is running at idle and the car is in park. Add extra fluid 500ml at time until it is back to the correct level. Having to top up the fluid frequently indicates a leak: prop shaft seal, impeller seal, speedo cable junction or the cooling pipe unions.

You have to take it to a dealer or a trusted mechanic. They will need to pull the tranny pan to drain it and replace the tranny filter also. There is no dipstick. Only a red fill cap on the right side of engine on top of tranny, it has a vent hose attached to it..

that's a trick question there is no dipstick on this transmission, all service is done while the car is on the lift. there is a fill plug located on the side of the transmission. Hope this helps Thanks Ray

There is no dipstick, you should have a small plastic reserve tank towards the right side of the engine close to the firewall. It looks like the reserve tank for your brake fluid.
