'97 Pontiac Transport-instrument panel lights out, dinging sound

My instument panel lights and tail lights went out this week and I have a "ding ding ding" sound repeating over and over everytime I turn off the car until I shut the door. It is loud and fast. I know it is trying to tell me something - but what??

I have checked all the fuses on theside door panel. None are blown and the one I think is specifically related to this circuit is called IGN-1. It was not blown, but replaced it anyways.

I then looked for fuses and relays under the hood. The box had one blown fuse, which when replace make the instrument panel light up for a short while then it all went black again and the fuse (#37) is blown again.

This shouldn't effect the tail lights but the dimmer switch on my vehicle was defective and made the panel lights work intermittently. No further problems after the switch was replaced.

My blinker doesnt make the blink noise and if you leave lights on it doesnt let you know with ding ding on a 2007 saturn ion2

Instrument cluster problem , speaker in the instrument cluster makes those sounds . You could buy a used instrument cluster from a auto salvage yard or have yours sent to a place that fixes them or buy a reman unit .

My pontiac montana 2004 radiator fans are not coming on. Instrument cluster is all wonky and door chime dings when the door is open even when I haven't forgotten to remove the key.

Fans are controlled by a temperature sensor on the engine block. I would start there - verify the wiring for a fuse problem and if OK, replace the sensor.

2001 grand marquis tail lights not working , turn signals not working , hazards not working

You have a lot going on there.possibly the lighting control module but only a guess without further diagnosis. Take it to a reputable garage that deals with electric concerns a lot..but they may tell you to bring to deal

94 bonneville with dinging noise

Which light is on ? The ABS light or regular Brake light?
If ABS light is on, your ABS is currently not working and it might be an electrical problem.
If the regular brake light is on something is wrong with the hydralics in the brake system. Either way bring it in ASAP. Good luck
