There are 6 bolts that hold the rear trunk panel on the trunk itself: 4 behind the license plate on the outside of the trunk and two inside the trunk panel trim.
1. Remove the license place from the DeVille rear trunk panel.
2. Remove the 4 bolts located below the license plate.
3. Remove the trunk panel (felt) trim inside the trunk.
4. There is a small bolt on each side of inside trunk panel (4mm I believe). Remove them. Each will have a rubber washer on them so you'll know you are removing the correct bolt.
5. From the outside of the trunk, lift out the rear trunk panel. The license plate light (and reverse lights) are removed by turning the light assemblies counter clockwise.

A/c blows cold on passenger side and warm on driver side

What style of auto? My 2005 Buick has a temp control on both sides of the control panel, driver control and passenger control. Maybe yours does too.

My 98 olds Aurora is blowing cool on driver and hot on passenger when i have AC on... What could this be and how do i fix it???

Is it dual climate control? The passenger side is stuck on heat mode. A door, inside the heater/AC case (up under the dash) for the passenger side, that closes off air passage to the heater core and redirects it to the A/C portion, is not closing. They get stuck, or broken with plastic stripped gears, or the actuators that move the doors quit working or quit getting a signal to work from the control unit on the dash.

Fixing it can get excruciating, I mean down right aggravating. I'm only warning you, so when you do it yourself, you can rate it on a scale of easy to dante's tenth level. It puts me in a manic-depressive state for days, and I used to enjoy tearing cars apart! Maybe I exaggerate. Some blend doors are easy to get at, but some models require the dash removed just to get access. Start by pulling off the sound insulator panel under the dash. Then with key on, operate the controls on the control panels, from heat to a/c and so forth. Listen for sounds like a thump from a stuck door, or clicking from stripped plastic gears. You just have to listen and look if you can see anything amiss. If you spot one of the doors or its actuators (the actuators are either tiny motors or are vacuum operated diaphragms with large canisters) not working right, you have to judge how much further it takes to repair it. Don't be discouraged, but cars these days are not very owner-friendly.

2004 Buick Rendezvous .... No power to climate controls. Ac or heat. Blower fan isn't working either. Compressor clutch does not engage. Was told by previous owner the blower motor may need to be replaced....

It's not the whole dash. You can get to the plugs within a few minutes. The problem will be figuring out why it was unplugged and fixing the real issues. See link below to access the panel 2002 2007 Buick Rendezvous Checking Heater controls

Interior lights not working

Sounds like you have a bad fuse, and or maybe a bad relay in your dash panels. Start by looking up the fuses that affect your sunroof, then work out to the other issues. On my Ford, there is a bad relay that affects my power windows, my radio, and my interior lights. Sometimes more than one fuse is related to a system, so check all the fuses before trying relays.

97 chevy suburban AC clutch won't engage pressures

Looks like the low pressure switch gets power from a 10amp ac fuse. Power then goes to the ac relay which is powered on by the ac heat controller on the dash. Power then goes thru the high pressure switch to the compressor. The ac relay is grounded to the body. Do you have power on the lite and dark green wires going into the relay and is it grounded ?

Dash lights on heating controls (lowest section of

Maybe if all the lights don't work but if only the heating control lights its more then likely the bulb for the controls or the wiring to the bulb. You will need to pull the HVAC panel out to check (check fuses anyway first) but i do not believe there is a fuse for HVAC illumination only..

My ac wont turn off what is prob

it could very well be the control switch in the dash panel that controls the ac / heat / air flow direction . the switch is in the middle of the radio panel . about $50 or so at your ford dealer .

CANT ADJSUT THE CONTROL ON HEATER AND AIR

The controls for your heater/vent selection is inside the dash, behind the control switches you use to select the vents the heat/AC will come out.
When you move the selection levers, there's a few things that happen. Vacuum is applied to the doors (which are inside) and they open or they work using cables to move the doors or both. The different doors open, directing air flow to the vents selected.
Remove the controls from the dash (which should just be removing some screws, maybe a few small pieces of dash and pulling it out). The controls will be connected inside so they will not come out very far.
Just check to see if anything is disconnected and try operateing the controls with the heat on to see how they work.
Sometimes they just stick or the doors stick. This system is the way the 1991 models worked but since they are the exact same, it should be this way also.
Look it up in some sort of repair manual for more info. I find with these trucks, they don't heat very well using the front vents anyway. I find using the bottom vents work best for heat unless you need defrost.
The "heater" selection will atomatically use the bottom vents, "bi-level" AC will use the front and bottom vents if I remember right and regular AC will automatically use the front vents. For the trouble in removing these controls (the whole dash would need to be removed for repair) I probably would just live with the way they work if they do work atleast properly (enough heat and AC). If you find that you don't get enough heat or AC when in use, check the cooling system for proper operation and blockages/mineral buildup and check the AC system incase it needs recharging or you have leaks.

1999 Olds Bravada - High Heat is always on.

I have narrowed the problem to a non-functioning climate control acctuator (a mechanical vent door opening/closing unit that mixes warm and cold air) Unfortunately it is located high in the dash and requires entire removal of dash panel. Shop repair manual states a repair time of 5.2 hours... GM parts $260 actuator $75 door panel......Online parts $60 to $175
