Id say ur tranny is starting to go bad. Or it could be a modulator, or ur tranny seal needs replaced. The filter inside could of gotten lose. Iwould just take it to ur local tranny shop dont say ur having issues and get a fluid and a screen change should be like $79.00 and if ur having a bad tranny they will say u have metal or tell u there are issues besides the check up needed. I had a trans am and when it got hot it would slip and when i turned coners its was slipping bad. It turned out being the tranny screen had slipped lose. Guess i was jumping bumps to hard. idk but good luck

You need to rebuild the transmission,it's over heating. May want to check your transmission cooler first .

Did you change the transmission filter and gasket as well as the transmission oil before running your truck.

I have been hearing a possible solution for this problem is changing the oil filter in the trans oil pan. But ive been looking all over for a solutionand thats the only legit one ive found. It said when the oil gets clogged it doesnt flow to the transmission as nicely as normal therefore leading to lagging changes
