Hard to start BMW 95, 740i. it turns well, it sound starving for fuel. problem worse when it is hot, it takes several tries. I changed the fuel filter and i did use lots of injector cleaner. i read about a fuel regulator that fails to keep the pressure to specs. this will be my next. can any body help?

The fuel pump is located under the back seat on the passenger side. You will find an access cover and will need to remove the screws. You should be able to listen for the pump while someone cranks the car. Also I believe there is a large green w/ blue trace wire and an equally large brown wire at the connector. Check for battery voltage across the two wires. The fuse for the pump should be in the fuse panel under the hood.

i have had the same problem at times. my car would start and then shut off. but i found that i needed oil and check my oil and it was a quater low put in some oil and everything went fine i notices that everytime the oil is low the same thing happens also depending on the position of the car being park meaning that if you are in a down hill position or up hill position i will do the same. so you have to accelarate for 1 minute to have the oil go up. i hope this works
