If your Isuzu is stuck in 'Limp Mode' you will need to get it plugged into a diagnostic system or an obd2 scanner as soon as possible to find out why! Limp Mode usually means there is a possibly serious problem and by serious I mean expensive! If you get the codes comment below with them and I'll try and help explain them.
there is a limp mode but I doubt if that is the problem
It indicates that the torque converter clutch servo/solenoid is faulty
run the fault codes to confirm if that is it or a faulty TCM
check wiring around the transmission
Is the clutch linkage adjusted so that there is enough pressure being transferred to the throw out bearing? If so, it could be the input shaft sticking out of the transmission did not align well with the pilot bushing in the flywheel, and is now binding because it got deformed, and will have to be replaced. Does it shift with the engine off? If not, it is not a clutch problem, but shift linkage.
You will need to get the clutch hydraulic system repaired before the clutch can be successfully disengaged.
Meanwhile, try rocking the vehicle backward/forward while shifting gearlever out of gear to get it into neutral.
If the seals around the shafts of master and slave are tight, they may be concealing a leak with fluid bypassing the piston seals internal to the two assemblies.
Either your master or slave cylinders need to be replaced ot have new seals installed.
Once you find the culprit and have installed a replacement, you will have to bleed the lines to evacuate air trap in the lines.
not transfer case motor....there is none on a rodeo....trooper has torque on demand.....rodeo problem is likely shift on fly mtr...mounted on front axle....if u dont use 4wd regularly it sticks and gets stuck.
