If you have a pocket on top of the dash take it off should have few phillips screws to remove. then just pull the plastic surround trim off. you will have to pull pretty hard especially if its new. then the radio will come it there are 4 screws holding it in.

Want to remove double din stereo in honda stream rn6 2007 rsz?

Don't know if this will help. but the radio is often clicked into place and needs a special tool to remove it from the dash.
See If there are two holes either side of the radio just above and below the tuning button and on the other side above and below the volume button.
If so, make a special tool using a wire coat hanger. Cut two lengths of about 30 cm (12 inches) long and bend them over double. Push the two ends of each into the holes in the radio until you feel the release pins lift, then gently pull the radio out.
Maybe it doesn't work for your radio, just hoping> . . .

Cd jammed won,t eject

Hi.

Try pressing repeatedly the eject button on the on dash player while turning on the stereo at the same time. If that does not work disconnect battery terminal for one minute to reset the electrics and try again pressing eject repeatedly on startup. Make sure that you have the stereo anti theft code if needed before disconnecting the battery.

If that does not work, then the unit must be disassembled. The car stereo must be removed from the dash. The unit must be disassembled removing screws at back and bottom and undoing metal casing clips. That will reveal the CD drive allowing to remove the disk.

Regards.

How to i remove the factory stereo from a 2002 honda accord

1) Pry out the clock with a fine screwdriver, it has no screws, take care not to mar the fascia, disconnect both plugs.
2) Take out the radio/ ac fascia by unscrewing the screw that was hidden behind the clock, and the 2 screws at the bottom of fascia
3) Take out the factory radio by unscrewing the whole chassis that supports the radio (4 screws at the corners) . Most stereo replacements will fit into this chassis too. Unplug the connectors, and the antenna plug.
Avoid cutting the cables. Use plug converters whenever possible. This will avoid speaker polarity problems, as well as night lighting, power antenna, memory power feed mix-ups .
4) Dismount the factory radio from the chassis (tray?), in order to reuse it.

Need to replace dashboard lamp on my 1997 Toyota

You need to pull the instrument cluster out of the dash. This is not a very hard job, but, you can damage the outer dash fascia as it comes off, past the steering wheel.

Move the steering wheel to its lowest position.
Remove the phillips screws that surround the instrument cluster fascia (under the top edge)
Pull the fascia off.
Remove the 4 screws that holds the instrument cluster to the dashboard
Remove the wiring connectors from the back of the cluster assembly, and pull it out. Replace the bulb, and reassemble. The wiring connectors cannot be mixed up, they are all unique.

1998 Ford Escort Stereo Removal

there are two holes in either side of the face plate. There is a tool (shaped like a pair of elongated horseshoes) that you can use. But I have gotten them out without the tools by taking 4 small nails inserted in the holes and a slight outward pressure to compress the clips while pulling on them.
Once you get it out, you will see the mechanism and smile.

Light is out in the dashboard

Remove the screws at the top of the black fascia that is in front of the clear plastic cluster lens

Pull the fascia off

Remove the 4 screws from each corner of the instrument cluster

Pull the cluster out, unplug all of the wire connectors

Do not disassemble the cluster; no need.

The bulbs are accessible at the rear of the cluster; twist to remove the bulb holders

Reassembly is easy, the connectors only fit one way.

Hope this helps.

Stereo removal

Removing the stereo requires disassembling the dashboard. This is done on purpose by the company to deter stereo theives. The process is the same on all CRV's from 1999 thru 2003, and is described on this page:
