1998 s10 Blower motor, wiper dont work ABS light on

I replaced the right front fender, had to remove battery and tray. reinstalled and everything worked fine. Next day battery was dead. Put on charger and drove next day. It was raining. 15 min into drive wipers quit working, blower quit working and ABS light came on. Truck runs fine just above problems. I have checked all grounds, fuses, looked for pinched wires. Any ideas

For blower motor, check these fuses. As you can see two fuse go hot with the key on, one is hot all the time. Not only check the fuses, use a test lite and voltage on fuse circuit.

SOURCE: Wiring Short?

hi
im dave
im not sure which ground you cleaned and changed but i would start with the oone closest to the problem area. Look under the kick panel at your left ankle or under the dash where the light switch is. Is your floor wet after these rains along that sidewall where your left foot would be? Could be you have a leak in the windshiel allowing water in there and shorting your ground.
let me know how this goes

Check voltage at the terminal that connects the blower if the problem is the current blower because eventually the brushes wear out

Sounds like your computer got wet. Could also be a bad battery, make sure you do a load test and check it. Any auto parts store will check it for free.

1998 Town & Country Dash Buttons are Flashing on and off

set it on full cold, set it to panel vents, blower motor to high. hold the wash and rear wiper buttons on the control head until all the lights come on. it will run through different tests, different lights will flash and alternate, and when it is done the rear wiper button will flash if everything passed. push it and everything will go out. if other lights still flash when it is done, you have failed the cooldown test because the a/c doesn't work right, or a door calibration did not pass.

1998 Mercury Mystique heater blower motor doesn't work. Have replaced everything and checked both fuses (both good). What next?

Don't know how the ABS light would be related to the blower motor, you said you checked everything - did you check the blower motor circuit for power and ground with a meter or a test light ?
Is the resistor getting power from the relay ?

Changing wiper motor in chev s10

It's not bad. They make a special tool to remove the motor from the arm assembly, but with a little determination I was able to remove it with out the tool. If your wipers aren't working try running power to the motor first to test it. I swapped it out and the problem ended up being a bad ground in the switch. I bypassed that for a little while by running a jumper wire from the engine block to motor. It also could be the pulse module they are known for going bad in GM vehicles.

Need wiring diagram

i dont think u need a wiring diagram. you should check your wiper motor circuit board first. on my 94 s10 the wipers either worked when they wanted to and now they dont work at all. just either replace the circuit board yourself ($19.95 on ebay) or replace the whole wiper motor ($60 on ebay) and your wipers should work. just give this a shot as its a good place to start. i myself am going to replace the wiper circuit board as its cheap, and really easy to access and replace. all you need is a screw driver. good luck. and no, im not a GM Technician. just owned my truck since day 1 and always try to check vehicle forums for answers first.
