I have a 2003 ford focus SE. I am having problems

I have a 2003 ford focus SE. I am having problems with my gas level indicator. Even though my gas tank is full the gas level indicator remains on empty and the ''need fuel'' light stays on. Why is this happening?

In my opinion it sounds like a problem from inside the fuel tank but don't quote me on this. With multiple sensors and switches related to fuel movement throughout the vehicle you're truly better off having a professional deal with this, unfortunately it will cost a few dollars.

2003 ford focus se obd2 codes p0462,p0460 please help

P1460 Wide Open Throttle A/C Cutout Circuit P1462 A/C Pressure Sensor Circuit Low Input P0460....Fuel Level Sensor Circuit P0462....Fuel Level Sensor Circuit Low Input .take your pick first readings ford second set universal readings ...clear codes and see what happens but if quadro is coming on and going off then i suspect something wrong like a wiring plug loose ,maybe you need a new quadro or instrument panel although i rarely touch a focus of this year their bullet proof ,ok brakes and a timing belt ,regular service but these machines never give probelms with regular maintenance .

Replaced the coolant reservoir on a 2003 ford focus se and now it will not start. What could have happened?

just can you check that you have connected the water level sensor back on to the reservoir. some engine models will not start if it detects no water.

My Ford Focus SE sputters when I accelerate. I replaced my spark plugs recently( and not with cheap ones). At times, it doesn't want to accelerate fast then starts to sputter. Any ideas on what it...

what does "not with cheap ones" mean? what did you put in.? Did it run like this before the plugs were changed? If you put some Bosch Platinum plugs in from Autozone take them out and put in the plugs that FORD calls for. You may have created your own problem. are your plug wires good?

I have a 2000 ford focus se it want stay runnig unless you hold the gas pedal down as soon as you let the gas go it stops running i changed the fuel filter did not help

first of all, if light is on have it scanned for a problem code. if no scanner all auto parts stores will scan for free. there has been over 200 recalls for 2000 ford focus, check with ford to see if this is one of the problems. god bless, this is a long run, but check and see if fuel is getting to fuel pressure regulator.

When I pump gas, it will spill out of the tank when its not full

there is a vent pipe/tube that runs along the fill pipe, this vent allows air out of the tank when u fill it, it has to be obstructed, replace it.
