It is at the engine end of the upper radiator hose, take the hose off there and u will see it.

The Thermostat is NOT at the end of the upper radiator hose (as in most other engines)
It is located on the block at the end of the lower radiator hose within a housing. Do not
replace with any but a genuine Daihatsu thermostat. (Note that dealers will supply non
genuine parts) the correct thermostat has a deflector plate fitted and a hole on the side
of the thermostat which when installed must be faced UP. this is so that the system
bleeds its air and to provide flow when cold so that the thermostat in the block will
get some hot water. If you can not get the correct thermostat remove and fit an after
market one in a pair of generic housings in line in the top radiator hose. This will
work better than the original non standard fitting which was used to plumb a EWest
    engine NSouth Regards Eric

I need Daihatsu Pyzar workshop manual

Is it a 1.5 or 1.6 ?

In any case all daihatsu 4 cylinder engines of 1.3, 1.5 or 1.6 are near identical bar the small differences in stroke / bore and combustion volumes.

So a manual for an Applause or charade or even a Rocky will cover all you need to know, here is a link to a F300 rocky / feroza manual.
