The guy that posted the first solution...that works...My power seat module went bad , so I used a 12 volt batery charger on the wires to move my power seats.

There are probably three or four motors underneath your seat, one for each range of movement. (forward/ back, recline/un-recline, tilt forward/tilt back, up/ down etc) Each should have two wires coming out. If you can determine which controls the function you want, simply take the two wires from it and hook one to the positive of a 12 volt car battery and the other to the negative. if it goes the opposite way that you want, just swap the wires to the other terminal and it will move the other way.

Where do wires for 2000 blazer power drivers seat run?

If you have power to the motor and wont move then replace motor, if not they usually run under the door plate, common cause for erosion. the under side gets rusted away and lets in moisture, check fuse and relays, also make sure the battery small wire to ground is intact and making good ground connection. Older vehicles lost power to seats without this chassi ground

Seat won't move forward, cant get to the rear bolts to remove seat because seat is back as far as it can go is there any way to move the seat manually

You must remove the seat from the power seat transmission then remove the drive motor from the seat transmission, move the seat to the desired position and reinstall the motor to lock it in place. The seat transmission is bolted to the seat mounting bracket/rails.

The driver side power seat button moves forward and backward and reclines, but wont move up or down, the seat is stuck all the way down so i cant get to the wrom gear underneath, how do i go about raising...

I am working on a replacement motor that will come with a new gear/shaft on it. I have one of my setups in the car right now and have the parts for another one ordered. I hope to make a video of the repair in a couple weeks when the parts show up. Still uses plastic gears, but these are larger, more durable gears and the swap is fairly straight forward with just a few modifications.

Driver seat power button only moves the seat forward - can not get seat to move back from steering wheel.

i'd say you need a new switch or motor, however i doubt you can find either. call around to some junkyards and see if you can find a working seat. buy it and strip the electrical parts out. put them in your seat. most likely you are going to have to remove two front and two rear bolts, unplug the wiring to lift the seat out.

Drivers electic seat will not adjust

I just had the same problem. When the seat is powered all the forward, one of the worm drives reached the end of its travel and jammed against the threaded block that it passes through. To fix this the seat has to be unbolted and tipped back. There are four tiny 6mm bolts that hold the motor plate in. Remove these and the motor will come out. The worm drive is bolted in at one end and has a set pin at the other. Remove the worm drive and use a couple of vice grips or equivalent to loosen the threaded block from the worm drive.

2000 Blazer power seats

i dont thing there is something to do with the power seats when you blew an engine, plus the power locks too.

im thingking, when you put the engine, a lot of wires and fuse boxes are in the engine compartment, you could probably disconnect some wire that are on the way on changing the engine and forgot to put the wires back together.

that is the only thing i could think of..

i hope i answered your questions...

tnx
