Broken off wheel stud on a 1998 hyundai elantra

remove wheels
knock studs out with a hammer
insert new studs from the back side of rotor
place a thick flat washer over the the sud against the front side of rotor
using the wheek nut, tighten wheel nut which will pull stud back into rotor untill seated
remove wheel nut
replace wheels
if the suds to be replaced are on the rear, you will need to remove brake caliper and then remove rotor from vehicle
the rear rotor is a combined disk brake and drum brake for the emergency brake
this will come off with a wheel puller or by knocking with a hammer
onece removed knock broken suds out then insrt new ones. can then use a hammer to seat new ones
reinstall rotor and caliper. replace wheel

just in case anyone else comes here wondering - it is a lot more of a job than that. You need to remove the hub from the strut, ball joint, and tie-rod, and then have the spindle pressed out, which will allow you to separate the rotor from the spindle enough to give enough room for the studs to come out just in case anyone else comes here wondering - it is a lot more of a job than that.
