    remove wheels
knock studs out with a hammer
insert new studs from the back side of rotor
place a thick flat washer over the the sud against the front side of rotor
using the wheek nut, tighten wheel nut which will pull stud back into rotor untill seated
    remove wheel nut
    replace wheels
if the suds to be replaced are on the rear, you will need to remove brake caliper and then remove rotor from vehicle
the rear rotor is a combined disk brake and drum brake for the emergency brake
this will come off with a wheel puller or by knocking with a hammer
onece removed knock broken suds out then insrt new ones. can then use a hammer to seat new ones
reinstall rotor and caliper. replace wheel

just in case anyone else comes here wondering - it is a lot more of a job than that. You need to remove the hub from the strut, ball joint, and tie-rod, and then have the spindle pressed out, which will allow you to separate the rotor from the spindle enough to give enough room for the studs to come out

How do I replace broken wheel studs on the Front Right wheel hub?

The studs will plainly hammer out. Hit the threaded part till it will wobble. A hole on the back side of the hub will be there to pull the broken stud out. Replace it with a new one and use the lug nut to tighten in in. Stacking washers will help very much doing this process. If none are available have the wheel installed to get the studs in tight

Removing Lug bolt plate from car

HI:
Stop!!! The "round plate" that the wheel studs are mounted to is your hub assembly. To replace a broken stud, you simply need to use a hammer and a drift pin punch, and pound it backwards. You replace it in similar fashion: insert the new wheel stud in from the back side of the hub, and use the wheel lug nut to draw the new stud into the hub assembly.

Passenger side windshield wiper quit working on my 2003 Hyundai Elantra?

It sounds like the arm or stud or both may have stripped out. If there is a cap on the bottom of the arm there may be a nut under it. Take a look the nut might just have to be tightned. If not then remove the arm and look carefully at the arm and stud. If these appear to be ok chances are the link under the cowl that connects the left wiper link to right wiper link has broken. Good luck!

I cant get the rear passenger tire off

After removing the lug nuts, spray some WD-40 around the wheel studs and the center of the wheel. I've kicked the tire, one side, then the other, or you might try pounding on it with a large rubber hammer.

Broken stud on wheel

The studs press out and in. Perhaps a hammer would work. Replacements studs can be purchased. Need to remove hub, of course.
