Thumping noise in chevy tracker 2000model

My 2000 Chevrolet Tracker 2.0 4-cylinder 4-door regular wheel drive is making a thumping noise coming from or near the right front tire underneath the car. It sounds like something is hitting the underneath whenever the car is steered to the right or whenever going around a right curve. The thumping is getting worse and I don't know whether it is safe to drive like this because it sounds like something is either coming loose or getting ready to fall off. I would appreciate any help in identifying this thumping problem.

Remove wheel and you should find bleeder screw at the top of the caliper or wheel cylinder.

I need a serpentine belt/routing diagram 2000 chevy tracker.

For the 2000 Chevrolet Tracker:

Most modern vehicles have the Belt Routing Diagrams on the undeside of the Hood. But the sometimes disappear.

I do not know if you have the 1.6L In-Line 4-Cylinder, or the 2.0L DOHC In-Line 4-Cylinder. Nor what Engine Options you have (AC/No AC, etc.).

Let me know if this helped, or if you have additional information or questions. Feel Free to contact me at FixYa.com!

Loud Knocking when pressing on gas pedal

What you are describing sounds like you have an engine bearing failing. Do not drive it 'till you have it diagnosed and repaired (most times though it's too late when you hear it.)..... Outside chance it could be the trans flex plate but I doubt it.

Not getting oil pressure with first start up of day.

Sounds like the oil pump check valve is not holding pressure on the system.  It should not bleed down significantly. after 30 seconds the oil pump has regained the necessary pressur eto quiet the engine.  This is not a task I would recommend for a DIYer.

Humming noise

the noise is most likely your roof rack if you have one. my tracker does the same thing (2000) and i think its the roof rack. im used to it now anddont mind the extra outside noise as it works well along with my Deer Alert wistles to help avoid deer hits.
