Check for battery voltage at the charge post on the alternator and at the 2 wire connect with the key on .if you have it then its a bad alternator. if you have a belt spinning the alternator.

Sounds like the alternator is bad. Start the truck, and while it is running, you can test the incoming voltage with a multimeter. If you do not have a multimeter you can remove the negative terminal. If the truck quits, you need a new alternator. If it keeps running with the terminal disconnected your alternator is fine. But if you replaced the battery and the cables, then I would be pretty sure that the alternator is bad.

SOURCE: 94 Jeep Grand Cherokee will not start

Sounds like the inline fuse popped. It is located in the wire that comes from the alternator to the battery. The alternator is sending out the juice, but it can't make it to the battery. I sincerely hope that this gets you on the road again. Best wishes and God Bless.

SOURCE: My 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee wont hold a charge and

First remove and clean battery cables and battery posts with a wire brush or sand paper. Make sure battery is charged and check to see if it starts. Then check battery condition and charging system. The problem could be cables, battery, or alternator. Check them in order and repair or replace as needed. Check cables, battery, belts(tension and condition), and charging system in order. Do this because bad cables will give false readings for other tests and so on.

SOURCE: my 200 jeep cherokee classic's horn wont turn off?

In the PCM is where the Horn Relay is. It's location should be annotated on the underside of the cover you pulled off to gain access. One way to determine if it is the Relay or not is to find a similiar Relay (shape and size) and switch them. If this fixes the Horn problem it is the Relay and should be replaced.

My grand cherokee want start but there is lights on the dash and it wont turn over.

Does it have headlights ? Clean battery terminals first, charge battery if needed, jump start it across the terminals of the starter with key on. Could be battery terminals needs cleaning, battery, or starter ?

1994 jeep cherokee (5spd) wont start

Yah sure check the fuel pressure on the manifold, ur belt tension and altenator. But a very common problem with jeeps is the crankshaft positioning sensor. Check and make sure ur gettin fire. If ur not could also b the ignition control module in the distribitor.

2000 jeep grande cherokee, will start if i jump it off, but when i give it gas, it idles down and stalls out

Check your charging system. Jumping will put a slight surface charge on the battery but that will only last as few minutes. If system is not charging, you will drop below operating voltage and the engine will then stall after disconnection jumpers.

Wont turn over but when i jump it it starts then

bad cell in the battery won't hold the charge, also check alternator, once the engine is running the alternator should keep it running even with a bad battery, chances are the fouled alternator caused your battery to fail also
