Stiff steering banging noise on uneven roads

check front-end out, immediately, could be a bad bushing/ control arm, this would need attention, asap, you could lose control of vehicle, or somethingelse is broken, shock, but the control arm / bushing is my bet. get it repaired, unsafe condition !!!

sounds like the anti roll bar fixing bolt is loose ,often happens when undone to lower suspension to change the CV rubber

yea check ur rack....may be der is not a proper engagement btw rack n pinion....so check it...... cheers!!!!!

indicates a wheel alignment problem
have the rear suspension checked and aligned first then have the front redone
the car could be going sideways down the road because the rear wheel are not in line with the front tires
not self centering and stiff indicates not enough castor

try the stabilizer link. remove both of them drive around, if the sound is gone replace them

check to make sure the metal cover is not hitting the rotors /thaks for using fix ya Please rate my response thank you very much

it could be tht the exhaust pipe is loose and therefor makes shaking and kinda banging noise. hope i helped! ;-)

If it only goes stiff part of the time, the box is probably OK.

Before considering major surgery:

• check the power steering fluid level.
• condition of the fluid
• condition and tension on the belts
• check for low or uneven tire pressure
• check steering linkages for damage (did someone borrow the car recently?)

If none of these check out, then consider replacing the pump.
