Squeaking noice when temp is below 30 degrees

I have a 2003 Buick Century that makes a squeaking noice when the temp gets below 30 degrees. I had a Chev Cavalier that did the same thing.

It happens when I first start the car. After it has been warming up for about 3 minutes or so the noice goes away.

The squeaking is simply the belt of your car moving. the freezing temps cause that problem thats why it quits when it warms up

04 Buick rendezvous. I changed the brakes and now there's a squeaky noise. What should i check??

Sometimes when you dont use dielectric grease on the little metal plate in the slot the breaks slide into it can cause a squeaking sound. Usually the squeaking noise comes from metal rubbing togeather

Squeak near serpentine belt

Sounds like u could have another leak possibly, coolant or oil getting on the belt, also look for the belt tensioner, when they go bad they will squeak really loud

97 Buick Park Ave. Non-Ultra. Mileage 200K. Was squeaking at morning cold start for about 5 to 10 min. Replaced Serpentine Belt, belt tensioner, alternator, and PCV Valve. STILL squeaking at cold start....

How's your engine coolant level? If you've got a water pump leaking coolant, your belt will squeak, as the pump will leak the coolant directly onto the belt. You'll see the spray pattern under the hood if it's been going on for a while.

Just changed all brake pads and rotors on 2004 Buick Lesabre. There is a noice like a brake pad noise at partial pressing of brake petal. Is worse after traveling about 10 to 15 minutes

If it's just a slight squeak and then it goes away then it's probably brake dust. Some aftermarket brake pads will still squeak depending on what pads you got. It's a good idea to go with ceramic pads that have a cut down the center of the pad and the ends are chamfered. This will help disperse the brake dust and minimize any squeaking.

2003 Volkswagen Jetta squeaking noise!

As you probably know squeaking could be alot of things, but the most common noise, that would not effect performance, would be serpentine belts. You can buy a can of belt dressing at Autozone, that you spray on the inside, the contact side, of the belt. If it is the belt, this should help. If it's been a long time since replaced you may want to replace belt. Alot of those belts will break after being worn out, but the better quality belts may not break, but they will make a horrendous squealing noise. If it's not the belt, you'd have to have someone look at it to troubleshoot. Good luck.
