SOURCE: 91 chevy s10 fuel pump

I believe u are referring to the lock ring on the fuel tank that holds the assembly in place, I use a hammer and a sturdy piece of wood (oak flooring 3/4" thick x 2" wide x 6" long), or a brass drift (punch). Place wood or brass against the tabs on the lock ring, tap w/ hammer to loosen (counter clockwise). The reason to NOT use a screwdriver or steel chisel, etc. is because u can make a spark when hitting it w/ hammer, and then u won't need to worry about the fuel pump anymore. Work on it in a well ventilated area!! No heaters going, or smoking, etc.

did you try changing the fuel filter or scanning for codes? This would be a great place to start.

SOURCE: I need to know how to set the time on the radio clock of 91 s10

It really depends on the type and model of your radio. Below is the generic clock set proceedure for the most popular radio at that time.
Hope this works for you.
Regards,

To set the clock, just:
Press the SET button. The word SET will light up in the VF display.
Within 5 seconds, press and hold the SEEK button until the correct hour
appears on the display.
Then, press and hold the SCAN button until the correct minute appears
After you set the time, the word SET will remain in the VF display for a
on the display.
few seconds.

SOURCE: do you know how to

well spray the connection for the slave cylinder with some WD40 so you can get it apart .
and then you will need to have the truck racked up or need it on jack stands so you can work under it. Good set of hand tools with metric and stander sockets air tools would be a big help and long with a pry bar
1. mark and remove the drive shaft. ( marked in the rear by the ujoint )
2. remove the bolt from the trans mount
3 support the trans and remove the transmisson cross member
4 remove the slave cylinder line
5 remove the bolts for the support bars on the bottome of the trans (move braces out of the way or take them all the way off
6. remove all bolts from any wiring harness that may be attached to the transmisson
7. remove bolts (6) from transmission bell housing while supporting the transmisson . after doing so you may need to pry and wiggle the transmisson losse from the set pins on the engine . remove transmisson and set to the side .
8. remove the bolts holding the presure plate to the flywheel . this will remove the disc also . now you have a choice to make . remove the fly wheel and have it resurfaced or replace it or leave it alone . if it has burn makes (blue discolored areas) replace or resuface . ( it is held on by 5-6 bolts) also i would replace the throw out bearing and slave cylinder at this time in the transmission
9. install new presure plate and disc .( need alignment tool should be in your clutch kit )
10 follow these steps in reverse order to install transmisson . note you will need the toqure specs for the flywheel bolts and the clutch presure plate bolts
11.once you have it all back together you will need to bleed the slave cylinder . witch is a lot like bleeding brakes
MY BEST SUGGESTION IS TO GET A SERVICE MANUL AT YOUR LOCAL PARTS STORE FOR DOING THIS THEY ARE CHEAP .. 25 BUCKS OR LESS ..AND WORTH WHILE
as do this for a living and have manuls i may have forgotten some steps in doing this job but i hope this helps you out

I have a 91 chevy s10 2.8 v6 and I'm trying to

IF you have a distributor check that it is tight and is not allowed to move as it will turn and throw out the timing. If you have been turning the dizzy to set the timing make sure you can't when you have finished.

I have a 91 350 chevy suburban, it is shifting hard into first and second gear. It has 245,000 miles. We have changed the transmission fluid but still shifts hard.

Been "twisting wrenches" for 25 plus years. Don't know it all but have come across in these older 350 and 305's that if the engine timimg is off you will get the same symptoms. Have you checked the timing and/or reset it ?
