No power to radio in my Ford pick up diesel 06 fuses seam fine

There is no fuse just for door ajar chime.

Door Ajar Warning Chime The door ajar warning chime warns that a door is ajar. The door ajar warning chime is a single chime with a 1 second duration. The door ajar chime sounds when the driver or passenger door becomes ajar while the ignition switch is in the ON position.
The door ajar warning chime inputs are:

• the ignition switch ON position
• the door ajar switches

The output is the instrument cluster chime.

depending on what brand and style of gauges you use, you might want power with the key in the start position. I have Autometer electric gagues in my Ford diesel and the power is "on" anytime the key is on or in the start position. If you don't need power during the cranking cycle, then I would probably use the radio fuse.

the radio fuse is usually the accessories fuse which is same fuse for the interior light,however some radios have a fuse in the power wire just before the radio you may need to remove the radio if you can't get at it from under the dash.....hope this helps......cheers.

sounds like yhere is not enough power

did you check the ones under the hood?

you have somewhere short which is draining your batteries.

you may not have power or ground to your 1708 conector

from memory... fuse 14 I think, its about 5 th from the bottom on the right hand side of the fusebox under the dash.

make sure they got power for stereo from the right place ie radio fuse/or cig lighter fuse. not any engine control fuses.
