1997 CHEVY TAHOE. BRAKE LIGHTS WON'T WORK. CHANGED BRAKE LIGHT CENSOR, BULBS AND FUSES. WHAT ELSE COULD IT BE

2005 Tahoe, sweet ride in every way until NO brake lights. Third light comes on as it should and I wuold think it is operated by the same brake pedal as the two others. The lights blink but won't 'brake'. Fuses in and out are good, so is there more to that switch under the dash that meets the eye? That is, after you get an eye 'up under' there, which means more uncomfortable than any human should ever have to be and at 48, with feet sticking out the sunroof and neighbors really wondering because I also had a Pink Floyd CD just blasting as I was doing this. I did some acid back in '73. The stuff has to wear off soon, I mean surely...

My right side blinker and brake light went out my husband replace the whole assembly. It works fine. Then few months later left side did the same thing, he replaced it too and it worked for a few weeks then it started working on and off especially when its colder, if it warms up it quits. Sometimes is working get halfway thru turn and it stops working. The tail light always works just no flasher, blinker or brake light on the left.

Brake lights and 3rd brake light are not working

If all the lights have gone off it is most likely the fuse has blown. Try this website to show you where the fuse is most likely to be.

Btake lights not working on 2001 chevy tahoe. All tails work except brakes. Fuses are good switch is good. I have tail lights but brake lights

It may be a wiring connector from front to rear wiring but......Have you checked the bulbs?Could be the brake light filaments have burnt in the bulbs. Also 4way flasher switch could be defective.

Replaced brake switch now won't go out of park 1997 chevy tahoe what do i need to do?

do the brake lights come on now with the new brake switch? Why did you replace the brake switch? It sounds like the switch is not being actuated or does not have a good electrical connection. You cannot move the shifter out of park unless the brake switch indicates the brakes are depressed. Whether or not the brake lights are functioning is a good indicator of whether the switch is working or not.

95 chevy tahoe no BRAKE LIGHTS

first thing I would suggest is replacing one of the bulbs to see if they are both just burned out.Other than that it may just be a fuse

99 Chevy Tahoe... Rear turn signals, brake lights, and hazards

I had this problem, and to be honest, it happened to the left side about a week later...it's the board that the bulbs plug into...it's a very common problem with this model. So popular that you can normally get the socket board off the shelf at a parts store! it's extremely simple to replace, and I replaced all the bulbs at the same time!

Daytime running lights dont work on 1996 Tahoe

Check all the fuses. Could be a bad relay for the head lights.

How do you change brake light on a 99 chevy tahoe

I Do Believe that the Light Assembly Comes OUT Via TORX Screws and The Lights are On a Curciut Panel that is then Removed to Gain Access to Bulbe

I have good fuse... third brake light works but no brake lights... help me solve this????

Check and replace bulbs. If the problem persists, either the circuit boards that the bulbs attach in, or a bad brake light switch.
