If you touch any door or the hood or start my vehicle the alarm goes off. My van starts and runs just fine and the alarm goes off after driving about a mile or so. What can I do to solve this noisy light show???

Push the lock button on your key fob for three seconds, until the lights on your dashboard blink. Your key has been reprogrammed, and your alarm and computer have been reset. Turn your Kia off, remove the jumper wires and close the hood.
If it is an aftermarket alarm try this. Disconnect the battery. Put the ignition to run, reconnect the battery, and it should start. After it is running, finding the valet switch. Usually a small black button on the driver side panels. Push it and the alarm should sit in valet.
you can try switching the key to the "on" position then open the hood and disconnect the negative terminal of the battery and reconnect after 2minutes. this will allow the alarm to be '"reset" and will recognize that you have the key for the vehicle.
