The only time the heat does work is if i sit theree and rev up the motor and hold it. Then the heat will start coming throw the vents i was thinking it could be the thermastat.
I think you're right. If you have a water temp gauge and it reads normal temp but you still have no heat at idle then you have another problem. If you just have a temp light then I'd replace the thermostat, it's easily done. Just go to your auto parts store and buy the Hayes manual for your car.

the actual switch to roll your window up, or is it the window motor? window switch is easy. all you have to do is remove door panel and disconnect the connector from the switch and pop it out of the panel and install the new one. window motor, you have to remove panel and there is a metal frame on inside the door that is sometimes riveted. if that's the case, you may need to rivet it after you pop the rivets. or some make a hole around the motor specifically there to replace the motor. shouldn't be a bad job. all you have to do is get in there and see what you got. not that hard of a job.
The vibrating sound is probably your heat shield on your exhaust,as you rev the engine the vibration is amplified and may be tripping your knock sensor, try removing the heat shield and see what happens.
The float in the carb is sticking..Buy a can of carb clean and spray it down as good as you can..In every hole and what you can get to...Alot of times this will work without having to take it off and clean it..After you spray it down really good let it sit for about 20 min. That will give it enough time to break down theat old gummy gas build up..After letting it sit Start it up..You may have to hold the gas pedal to the floor in order to start it because of the over satutration of the cleaner..After letting it run for awhile let it idle and go under the hood with it still idling and rev the motor up and closing the choke at the same time..You may have to rev it up a little high..When you rev it up and the motor is racing quick close the choke and the motor will start to die down and rev it a little with the choke on..What this does is by closing the choke when its reving up is it sucks all that crud build up out .You may have to do that a few times but it works great..Good Luck and Have a great day
