Well a code 300 is for a random miss - it could be ignition or fuel related. BTW I don't think a 2007 uses a fuel filter any more depending on the engine.
If code 300 is all you get now, you may have to wait until the problem gets worse to find it.

SOURCE: 1986 corvette running rich at idle, give it gas

have you tried checking the map sensor this can sometimes cause the engine to run oddly. also check for good spark check wires when its pitch black out check for wire arching. also check fuel pressure with a pressure guage.make sure cap and rotor are clean of deposits. keep searching and you will find the weak link.

SOURCE: 1995 dakota fuel pump relay. If the relay is bad,

If fuel pump relay is bad yes it will still get spark.
Sonds like you do have a fuel pump, or fuel pump relay problem, most likely the pump.

Sounds like you are running out of gas. When was the last time you changed the fuel filter? PO 300 means there is a miss fire which can harm the catalytic converter. It could also be a ignition problem. Coil pickup. Without hands on diagnosis it is hard to exactly pin point the problem.

Fuel pump may not supply enough pressure to run engine, but it could be a pluged fuel filter as well. you should get the code pulled out of the computer this will tell you exactly what is wrong or at least narrow down what is causing the problem. It could also be either bad gas with water in it or bad timing or wrong firing order.

Engine runs but you have to feather gas pedal to keep running . is this a fuel pump problem or carb.

For a problem like this there could be many things wrong. Fuel pump, filter, fuel pressure regulator, clogged injectors on the throttle body, bad plugs, distributor cap, rotor or plug wires or just bad gas. I would start with the cap/rotor. It is the easiest thing to get to and easiest to check. After that the plugs and wires. If all of this is good use the check engine light and pull the codes. This will tell you if any sensors are out. After that if the problem is still there run a heavy dose of fuel system cleaner through the gas and then change the fuel filter. If none of this helps the last thing it could be is the timing. If it is hard to start and wants to die out while idling the timing could be off or the vacumn advance hose could be disconnected. If any of this helps or you just want more information please feel free to contact me,.
