no power means???????????????????
1: TRANS SLIPS, means rpm rises but not road speed.
or dont shift
2: RPM does not rise, means weak engine,.
so that is first
3: or transmission does not up shift? period or name gears not attained or skipped.
YOUR TRANSMISSION SOUND LIKE LOW IN TRANSMISSION FLUID. YOU HAVE A FACTORY SEAL TRANSMISSION IF SLIPPING SHIFTING HARD TRANSMISSION COULD HAVE FLUID LEAK. YOUR TRANSMISSION DONT HAVE OIL FILLER TUBE AND DIP STICK.THE VOLKSWAGON DEALERSHIP HAS TO USE EQUIPMENT TO ADD FLUID THROUGH TRANSMISSION FILLER PLUG ON UPPER SIDE TRANSMISSION PAN. IF TRANSMISSION FLUID HAS NEVER BEEN CHANGED LET DEALERSHIP CHANGE TRANSMISSION FLUID AND FILTER AND TRY TO LOCATE LEAK IF FLUID WAS LOW. ALSO MAKE SURE ENGINE FINE TUNED AND TRANSMISSION SHIFT CABLE ADJUSTMENT IS CORRECT.
P0753Shift Solenoid A Electrical
its inside of transmission not very easy to replace it controls the shifting of the transmission P0763Shift Solenoid C Electrical
its another transmission shift solenoid P0758Shift Solenoid B Electrical
another shift solenoid now my question to you is your transmission shifting normal have you had any work done to your car recently like changeing any seals on your transmission to have theses replaced by a mechanic its gonna be very expensive i could tell you step by step how to change them with theses codes you should be haveing serious shifting issues if you dont have shifting issues reset codes and see if they come back if they do then it could be in the wireing harness comeing from transmission hope this answers your question happy holidays
FIRST CHECK TRANSMISSION FLUID LEVEL MAKE SURE ITS CORRECT.IF FLUID LEVEL OKAY SOUND LIKE STICKING SHIFT VALVES.CHANGE TRANSMISSION FLUID + FILTER.GET SOME TRANSMEDIC ADD 1/2 TO NEW TRANSMISSION FLUID THIS HELP FREE STUCK SHIFT VALVES IN VALVE BODY DONT OVER FILL ADD IT IN.BUT DONT OVER FILL TRANSMISSION.IF THIS DONT HELP.YOU COULD HAVE VALVE BODY PROBLEM.
CHECK TRANSMISSION FLUID.IF LOOKS BLACK HAS A BURNT SMELL .CHANGE FLUID + FILTER.IF FLUID CHANGE DONT HELP.YOUR SHIFT VALVES IN VALVE BODY STUCK OR SHIFT CABLE NEED ADJUSTING.WHEN YOU DO A FLUID CHANGE YOU CAN BUY A BOTTLE OF TRANSMISSION CONDITIONER IT FREE STUCK SHIFT VALVES IN VALVE BODY.I WOULD ADD 1/2 OF IT WITH NEW TRANSMISSION FLUID.DONT OVER FILL TRANSMISSION WHEN YOU ADD IT IN.
it can be many things.make sure to check transmission fluid.if all is good.your governor valve sticking.or got worn gears.you have sticking or binding accumulator valve. 3 -2 control valve - tv limit 1 -2 or 2 - 3 shift valve train - sticking or binding throttle valve and plunger.2 -4 servo seals leaking - damage or worn 3 - 4 accumulator piston.the 2 3 4 clutches worn or the 3rd roller clutch is damage or missing bearings.Try changing transmission fluid and filter.put some of the transmedic transmission conditioner in fluid.dont over fill tranny.if you got sticking shift valves .it will loosen them up.so it will shift better.if it dont help you have internal transmission problems. .
does your car vibrate when shifting gears ??
your problem could be either worn gears on the transmission or the transmission mounts.
if the car vibrates when shifting then most likely are your transmission mounts, when they get worn the transmission will move a little out of place and you will have problems shifting.
if it doesn't vibrate probably are your gears and transmission will have to be repaired.
