i have the exact problem. Got it about 7 days ago. Found that it is a wire that is orange coming off the positive terminal of the battery. Seems that the wire over heated and turned to dust. Heard a pop sound after the car drained of power then shut off in the middle of the road followed by burning wire smells. I found the wire severed and twisted it back together then started it. It tried to turn over but then the wire caught fire and broke again. Seems to be a short to ground when the ignition is on... Don't have a schematic or I would fix it.

Bad ground on battery to engine block, use jumper cable from negative to a metal bracket on engine and see if that resolves issue if so get a new ground cable.

did the battery check to be good? are the connections on the battery tight and clean? if so you may be getting a bad body control module , it controls power and ground to the systems you are having problems with.also check the ignition switch to see if you are getting power out of it to power the vehicle up.

I think you need to replace the Body Control Module (BCM), My newly replaced BCM (used) fixed my wiper problem but created a new problem which the left turn signal is not working now. Time to sell the van.

Wipers go on when you use the turn signal

you might havea bear wire for the wipers take the cover off the steering colum should be held on with two screws on the bottom side then look inside at youre turn singal switch you might see the wire put some electrical tape on the bare spot that might cure the problem or you will have to replace the switch
