Hi, viewers! There is a dome lamp cancel switch together with the Main Headlights rotary switch and the backlighting dimmer switch. Just beside to the right of the main headlight rotary knob are two control buttons. Go for the top button, this should cancel the dome lamp function regardless of door opened or closed, otherwise you could be having some wiring or module issues that may need extensive diagnostics. Normally, it takes a minute or two for the dome lamps to automatically turn off after closing the last door, specially the drivers door. I just hope you got it okay, good luck though. : )

This is a short on the dome lamp assembly. It is possible that the ground wire from the dome to switches is short.
remove assembly and check.
The button is part of the latch that holds the door shut. If you have that many issues I wonder if the wiring harness in between the door is bad?

Testimonial: "Thanks for your help. The problem was with the headlamp switch module which also contains the dome override and dash light switch. I disconnected it and the dome light works as it should when the door opens and closes. I ordered a new headlamp switch. Thanks again!"
