You did not list the year but i will give you the most common way. First thing is to remove the negative battery terminal, locate starter. the starter will be at the rear of the engine near front of the transmission. There will be a small wire, remove this wire from starter, this is the trigger wire which powers up the starter when key is in the crank position. Next is the big cable size wire located next to small wire you just removed, this is constant battery voltage from battery. remove and set aside, with battery terminal removed from battery you will not need to worry about it shorting out against frame or other metal. All wires are removed now. next will be to remove the bolts holding the starter on.this starter may have 2 or three bolts.remove them.note some cars run a ground battery cable to starter bolt, if your has that then take note of location and put ground back on same bolt .It does not really matter which starter bolt as they all will ground but the reach is why i say to just put back on same bolt.Next is remove the starter. hope this helps, good day
1. Raise the car and support it. 2. Disconnect the negative battery cable. 3. Crawl under the car and locate the starter. It is easiest to do this by following the positive power cable from the battery down to the starter. 4. Remove positive cable from starter. 5. Remove wires from solenoid. 6. Remove bolts holding starter to the transmission bell housing. 7. Remove the starter.
starter is located behind the motor under the intake manifold, to replace remove the battery cable & air filter box and remove 2 15mm bolts that go through the bell housing into the starter then get under the car and remove 4 10mm nuts & bolts that attach a plate from intake to the block then remove 1 more 15mm bolt holding starter in and pull it back then nose first down then remove 10mm and 13mm nuts on starter solonoid removing cable and wiggle it out past the half shaft and vualla its out
Raise and safely support the front of the vehicle securely on jackstands.
Disengage the solenoid wiring connector from the terminal. This
connection may be held in place by a retaining nut, or it could be a

Remove the starter motor-to-transaxle bellhousing mounting bolts.
Remove the starter from the vehicle. If equipped, remove the starter motor spacer.
To install:
If equipped, hold the starter motor spacer in position.
Install the starter motor into position on the vehicle.
Install the starter motor-to-transaxle bellhousing mounting bolts. Tighten the mounting bolts to 40 ft. lbs. (54 Nm).
Engage the solenoid wiring connector onto the starter terminal.
Connect the B+ wire and tighten the retaining nut to 90 inch lbs. (10 Nm).
Lower the vehicle.
Connect the negative battery cable.
Verify starter motor operation.
Disengage the solenoid wiring connector, then the battery positive (B+) nut and wire from the starter motor
Remove the 3 starter motor-to-transaxle bellhousing mounting bolts
Remove the starter motor from the vehicle
