What does ODB II code 300 mean on 2003 Ford Expedition

my 2003 experdition 4.6 has an ongoing problem with my truck... When im driving and have to stop down on it the service light starts blinking and it looses power< i taken it in for service and they said that the service code was saying that the truck waz running lean... the dealership said that they updated the ecu box but three days later its doing the same thing..... Does anyone know what is going on... I thinks it is a ecu problem because i caint going go over 3000rpms before the service light sttarts blinking and staying lite.... a little background... i have updated the coilpacks with msd ones....

Hey Joe, are you sure the cam moved? The cam is usually held in place by tension placed by the lifters/push rods/rocker arms/valve springs.. Check to see if the cam sprocket will only bolt up in one position, if so, you should be able to time everything... MAKE SURE ITS RIGHT - 300% RIGHT - BEFORE you reassemble...

What does it mean to have a code po 430 on a 2003 ford expedition

My code book says"Catalyst Efficiency Below Threshold(Bank 2).This means the computer sees that the readings between the O2 sensor before and after the catalytic converter show that the converter isn't cleaning the exhaust enough.This could be the sensors or the converter.I'm leaning toward the converter,but this only a guess.(O2 sensors can become sluggish and not read accurately,but the computer would most likely set a code for one of the sensors as well).

If the check engine light is on I would check for trouble codes first.
If not, look for a vac leak or low fuel pressure.

My 1999 Ford Expedition 4 wheel drive service light on the 4 wheel drive is on..saying "service 4 wheel drive"? what does this mean and is it harmful to use the 4 wheel drive with the light on?

Usally these warning lights come on for a reason.
I would have someone plug a OBD II reader in and retrieve the code.
The code should be able to tell you specific information on why the light is on.
Until you find out I would not us the 4 wheel drive function.

Ford Expedition Battery and system charge warning

If he replaced the battery that would have cleared the code. There is another issue. Was the alternator aftermarket? Just becuase it is new does not mean good. Those are easy to install I would return it to where you got it and try another.
