My 1988 Chevrolet C3500 With A 7.4L (454) engine has a TH400 in it.

Yes as long as the torq bolts line up. The center bolts will not be a broblem you should be ok. good luck.

There is a jumper on the timing circuit you have to remove. Set timing and put jumper back.

I have a 1988 chev silverado 454 dually & I have removed the smog unit & replaced the belt to the right size( the mechanic did this) but now the bolts have sheared off the crank holding the bottom...
Yes, it could cause the belt in your car to slip.

got a clutch pedal in there? If auto, it could be a 700r4 or some variation of that. You can likely get exact info from a dealer if you give them the vin #.
