My 1986 chevy g30 camper with a 5.7 and th400 trans wont let me go over 55ish. It shift all gears but its like the rpms are maxed at 55 and theres alot of strain on the motor. Any ideas?

Change the fuel filter, replace the air filter, and verify sufficient pressure at the main TBI injector. Replace the fuel pressure regulator or primary injector if necessary (both inexpensive parts). Also, if your camper was allowed to sit for more than a few days with ethanol blend fuel in the tank, rust may be clogging your fuel intake screen (in the gas tank), or may have damaged the fuel pump. As a precaution, I would recommend removing ALL FUEL and replacing it with new non-ethanol fuel (where available).

82 chevy ignition key wont turn

Unless you turn your key forward the ignition switch will not come out. try wigging the steering wheel back $ forth while turning your key it may release the pressure and allow the key to turn.____________________CARPROG FULL V4.01
