Have a Mitsubishi Lancer 2005 1.6 with CVT INVEC III transmission. The car when accelerating hesitates and gives light un pleasing regular jerks . It does accelerate even to 160 Km but continuous jerky paddle which is very annoying and distroyes the drive,on idle or when reving up without gear engaged nothing happens. Local dealer has no clue and is helpless. My guess is that either engine or gear box requires reprogramming etc etc . Need help plz.

The fuel filter is plugging up, replace the fuel filter, let the fault grow let me tell you you be in control now you tell them this there is rust in your system okay the fuel pump supplies volume as the volume increase in the fuel line pressure is now develop this pressure must be maitained at a constant pressure this ensure proper fuel injector atomization , this atomization must occurre for proper combustion, so here are the solution to the problem replace the fuel filter and youll need to service the fuel injector, either you replace it or you backflow the injector no service of fuel injector will work just A BACKFLOW INJECTOR SERVICE. and replace filter that is the cure.

Something on the intake side of the motor may be loose sucking air casing the engine to compensate by adding more fuel
