There is a pan at the bottom of the transmission that you can drain the fluid from.... you'll need to get a new gasket and it's a good idea to change the filter at the same time. usually you can buy that in a kit that includes both... most automatics don't have a drain hole. but be aware that you have to make sure that that is the correct transmission fluid for the tranny.
also realize that draining the pan and changing the filter is good maintenance but there is still a large amount of flud in the torque converter and transmission cooler.

I'm not sure how advisable it would be to mix the two types of fluid

changing the filter might be a better option... also when you do that there is a small magnet in the pan ... it catches any small metalic flakes as the bands wear.
and while you have the pan off you can adjust the bands... you'll need a manual to make suire that is done properly... that is if that transmission requires adjustment.... as far as i know the new electronic transmissions don't need to be adjusted.

There should be two identical looking bolt heads or plugs that you can put a 3/8 extension into. with style lower one of the two is the drain plug and the higher one is the fill port. hope this helps you.

2009 Mazda Demio. I would to know the recommended ATF for it please?

Question edited for clarity.

Be careful with terminology, ATF Fluid is a sort of an oil, but it is light in viscosity. Gearbox oil is for vehicles with manual transmission and is considerably thicker and would cause issues in an automatic.

Mazda 323 1997 model Have no drive in all gears it is an automatic have changed oil and put cleaning fluid in also

It is a 1997 no doubt with 150000 or more miles on it. Auto Transmissions do not last forever and the internal components wear and malfunction (more so when maintenance is neglected as is usually the case) which requires the transmission to be changed or entirely rebuilt if you keep the same unit. That is what you are looking at here.

Most people today seem to have the most unrealistic expectations of the life of the mechanical components in their cars.

Does a mazda 323f 2001 model need gearbox oil change after some milage or is it a sealed unit?

Automatic and standard transmission needs fluid change every 24 months. On automatic transmissions, the gasket needs to be changed as well as the filter. On standard transmission there is a drain plug that can be loosened up, and refilled through the refill hole. Standard transmission use gear oil, while automatic transmission uses automatic transmission fluid.
