Where is the ignition modulator located in a 1984 toyota truck

Keep in mind that the Igniter is the same thing as ICM (Ignition Control Module), it is located by the brake boostr, I will post a picture showing its location...

Hello. On toyotas, the igniter (the ignition module) is a common cause of no spark conditions. That, or the coil, or the pick-up coil inside the distributor may be your problem. Good luck.

check ignition module, may be located on side of distributor

If your key switch will turn it could be your ignition starter switch located under the dash on the steering column. it is a small silver module with two bolts holding it on the column, and it should have two wiring plugs plugged into it. these can sometimes come apart. make sure that it is tightly together. there are metal tabs that hold it together. if that does not solve the problem check or change your distributor ignition control module, located under the hood on your driver side fender well. it is a grey box. good luck. as far as a button goes your on your own.

replace the ignition igniter module, that is a common cause of this. it is located on the outside of the distributor

You mean the crankshaft position sensor. Just follow your spark plug wires to the coil packs and ignition module. Then there will be two wires from ignition module to crankshaft position sensor which is in lower part of the engine block

should be on driver side over the front wheel
