The light on my instrument panel "Temp Gauge only" is not working what bulb can i use to replace it, and is it a simple fix? Or hard to get at?
It depends on how you define "hard". For a seasoned technician, it is "nothing but a thing". However, if you are not familiar with removing instrument clusters, it could be a total nightmare, resulting in stuff getting broken in an attempt to take things apart - in this case, the car will never be the same....
The instructions in the shop manual look pretty easy for your vehicle however. It only says to remove the instrument cluster cover, the instrument cluster mounting screws, disconnect the electrical connectors and remove the cluster....sounds simple anyway....
As for what bulb to use, the service manual does not say. That information is probably in your owner's manual. When I do these, I take the cluster out first to see what bulb type it uses, and replace it....you can do the same if you have a second car. Just take the bulbs out, then go to the parts store to get replacements when you have the old bulbs in your hand - that way, you can e certain to get the correct bulbs.
Please note I am saying "bulbs" as in PLURAL. I recommend replacing ALL the bulbs on the back of the instrument cluster at the same time so you do not have to go through this again in a few weeks or months.

look for access panels in rear hatch there will be one on each side remove those and there will be 10 ml nuts holding the light housings on remove those then you can access the lights

check to make sure the temperature sending unit wire is still connected ,turn key on and disconnect temp wire from sensor to see if you have any voltage,if you do replace the unit.

I would recommend that you remove the headlight assembly/ It is a very simple procedure and will make replacing the bulb that much easier. There will be three mounting bolts on the top in plain sight, Its an import so your bolts are going to be metric 10 or 12mm I believe. After these are removed, there will be a clip still holding the headlight in, grip the front of the headlight and the back and give it a good tug up and it should come free. After the headlight has been removed then unplug the wire from the back of the headlight, you will see three prongs there will be a rubber gasket and a metal ring, you will need to remove the ring to be able to get the old bulb out. be careful as not to damge the rubber gasket or you will get water into your headlight. If you need any pics I can post them for you. Hope this works.

change out the water pump that should solve your problem for over heating.

If
all voltages checked ok, then most probably its faulty instrument cluster board
on which gauges are connected. Yes if cluster circuit board looks ok, then also
it can be faulty. Somewhere there is minute short or burn on board then such
problem arises.
Also
check the fuse box. One under hood and other under dash.
Inspect
each and every fuse and see if all are fine or not.
