sounds like you have a bad ground. There should be a motor ground on the back of the motor anas well as the battery ground. The battery going dead could be caused by this or a bad regulator in the altenator unplug the altenator to check this for the starting problem

9 times out of 10 it is the factory amplifier. I had this same problem and it was the amplifier. Disconnect the amp located in the trunk by the speakers and see if the drain continues. You will not have music, but having the amp replaced with an aftermarket one will solve this problem,

Hi Don Everson, I want to help you with your question, but I need more information from you. Can you please add details in the comment box? You might want to see if you can get a used BCM at the salvage yard. If you want to troubleshoot the draw, try pulling fuses with the key off and then using a test light across the fuse socket terminals. Any fuse socket that lights the test light brightly is using too much power. Once you find the circuit with the draw, you will have to trace the circuit to each component being fed and test those components. When the dash goes crazy, it's usually because the battery voltage is very low or the bcm is acting up. Also good to make sure the bcm isn't getting wet in any way.
