I had this same problem with a nissan. When I hooked up the aftermarket stereo there was a wire for lumination and the aftermarket already has this covered so hooking it up blew the fuse for the tail lights.
Consider what you have changed when stereo was installed. Using existing wiring is not like it used to be. The electronics has changed that. Going from fuse block is not a good thing.
Try undoing and examining wiring for damage and consider routing from battery. Cables are available for extra wiring from the battery.

No way to fix this over a computer keyboard, you tampered with the factory wiring, so there is no way to help you, this one is just a matter of elbow grease and time.
