What you hae to do is check if the reservoir is leaking first if okthen it is either the piping or the steering pump. It is a process of elimination, you may need to clean the area first to discover where the leak is or work back from the point it is leaking on the belt. Until you identify where the leak is coming from it will be dificult to repair unless you just start to replace the pump and reservoir any way.

2005 chevy impala 3.4v6 power steering fluid leaking all over alternater and drive belt, car want hardly run,

Sounds like the high pressure power steering hose is leaking. Check it out and if so replace it along with the low pressure return line. If the lines are not leaking then the power steering pump could be the problem.

2005 chevy impala, the steering whel is hard to turn at low speeds, had pump and pullies replaced, was told it is not the rack and pinion or the steering box. What else could it be?

My guess would be possibly the power steering belt. Make sure it's tensioned properly and not worn. Since the problem only happens at low speed, it sounds like the system is losing proper fluid pressure when the engine slows down. Check the system for any fluid leaks as well.

Impala 2011 steering power noise

Have you checked the level of the power steering fluid if it is low it can cause a noise similar to what you described. The power steering pump could be starting to fail and making the noise. I would suggest checking the power steering fluid level and if low, they make some fluid that has power steering fluid conditioner, supposed to help extend the life of the power steering pump, if it is low you need to follow the lines from the pump and see if you can find a leak anywhere. also I would take notice of the color of the power steering fluid, if not too much trouble maybe take a picture of the fluid and upload it here, the fluid can break down and need to be replaced.

2005 Impala Power Steering Fluid Leak

If you recently added power steering fluid, this is a very common issue that many people come across. Power steering fluid is very commonly over filled. When the fluid reservoir is overfilled, it will flow right out over the top of the reservoir when you make a full turn either right or left. When this occurs, it gets onto your belt {s} and is then transferred all over the engine vie the belt and the air being blown back over your engine by your fan. If it is not an overfilling issue, then you have either a loose pressure line, a ruptured pressure line, a bad crimp on a pressure line or your fluid reservoir O-ring and body have somehow become separated. Pressure lines are typically easy to replace. If it is the pump and fluid reservoir, then unless you have experience at working on automobiles, I would suggest taking it to your mechanic.

2005 chevy impala power steering have leak but can't find it.

Common leak points are the p/s lines, specifically the pressure line where the hard line and rubber hose are crimped together. Also check the pump itself, steering rack and fittings, return line and cooler (usually just a loop in the return line). I usually like to clean off the area where i find the leak with some brake clean and drive the car for a bit. It's easier to find the source of the leak when the fluid isn't all over the place.
