What is the mechanism that comes after the power steering pump in the belt diagram?

I found out it my AC compressor. I am going to NAPA Auto Parts to get a different serpentine belt to reroute my belt to leave out the AC compressor. I know quite a few people that have done this and it has solved the problem until they are able to replace the compressor. I will leave another comment later today to let everyone know how that works out. I also do not recommend going through muddy water that is as high as the hood. I had to replace my alternator, starter, power steering pump, exhaust flex pipe and now the AC compressor. I saved a ton of money buying used parts and installing them myself but still it's an expense I rather would have avoided. I have noticed though that a a bad shuddering of the front end has stopped with the new power steering pump & pulley. All of this was my fault otherwise I'd still be a happy camper with my Trooper. I also removed the AC relay (engine compartment fuse box) to ensure it would not engage (or cease moving and burn the belt off). I know it's winter and that is why I don't know why it would go bad on me like this when I haven't used it in several months. It's strange though because I can hear the compressor kick on when I turn the front window defrost setting on with the heat. That is the other reason I removed the relay. Problem solved. 80.5 inch belt in place of the 90" effective removes the AC Compressor from the loop. The tension (I measured pounds of pressure at the pulleys) and it is the same. Not all vehicles have schematics to do this but if your vehicle was make without AC, most likely you can do this quick fix during Winter so you can wait for warmer weather to fix it. The bearings are completely shot and my engine is quieter than I can remember without the loud grinding and extremely loud whining it was making. I hope this helps any other 2002 Trooper owners.
