Dash electronic display has gone crazy

I have a 2006 ford Taurus for the last few days the electronic display has been going crazy it will beep then say press reset for english sometimes the battery light comes on while this happens sometimes it doesn't. We checked the battery added some water. The cables on the battery look good fuses are good what could be the problem????

In my case, it just shut down randomly. Wait 5 minutes, then it starts. Few weeks later it happened again, then in a week, then every few days, then half the time.
That's how electronic modules fail on Fords.

Cruise control

Sometimes the cause can be the cause was in the electronic circuit board in the back of the dashboard display.
You need to have car computer scanned to diagnose the problem

2006 ford taurus horn sounds off when I start or shut off the engine, also batt. has been dead 3 of the last 4 days when I get out of work. Batt. load test results have all showen batt. is good

Must be a short in the electrical, change battery and if not then it may be your alternator. Also check to make sure plug in going from alternator isn't damaged or dirty in the plug itself. If you had an alarm set up in it they also could of done it incorrectly.

Did you check the transmission fluid again. You could have a major leak. Or reving the car up so high it started to burn the clutches in your transmission, resulting in replacing the transmission. Always check the fluid. A few dollars for fluid is better than 1500 bucks for a new tranny

1998 Ford Taurus stalled out

you have a fuel pump problem it was shorting for some reason hence the gauge going crazy from the float circuit being shorted. your fuel pump is on it's last leg have it replace this will solve the problem. please rate this

My car is acting crazy!

" turn the key on engine off 8 times. the doors will lock and unlock. push one of the buttons on the key fob and the doors will lock and unlock. do this for each remote that you have. when you are done turn the key off. the door locks will lock and unlock. the remote fob should work after this."

Location fuse panel 2000 ford taurus

Welcome to FIXYA

i only know of 3 places they put fuse panels
1 under the steering wheel driver side on the firewall under the dash
2 in the glove box
3 is under the hood
