that will be a difficlut one as those key's do have pick-up sensors built in, you can by pass it wil start the engine but after 5 seconds it wil turn off, so it wil be better to get new one and code the key

Wil not start
I would check the ASD and fuel pump relays to see if the coil and fuel pump is getting voltage. Then you may have to figure out if you are dealing with a no spark or a no fuel problem to proceed.

Since you changed your ignition switch, u might need to check the starter motor, if the starter motor pinion is jammed in flywheel ring gear. it can cause this. Also look at the starter motor solenoid.

5.7 chevrolet 1998 injectors wil not open,what's the problem? I checked the fuel presure it's ok,when i put gas inside the trotle body the engine wil start,but die down as soon gas finish.
You could possibly have to replace the spider injection assembly. Or the regulator unit to the spider injection rail.
