2001 Saturn SC2 Electrical issue

Two days ago car would not turn over, acted like battery was dead, but still had power to radio, lights, etc. Continued to 'mess' with it and it finally started. Replaced battery and worked fine for most of day. Now, nothing, nada. Won't turn over, won't jump, no electrical anywhere. Any suggestions where to start? Could the battery be bad?

I drove my car this morning with no problems at all. Went in the store for 15 minutes, and when I came out, the car wouldn't turn over at all.

I have same problem with 2005 Ion. In cold weather, around 30 degrees or less, something drains the battery so it won't turn over. A simple jump/charge and it's good. I notice it seems to happen more often if I don't manually turn the radio off before turning the engine off. Saw a site that said the radios connection to onstar was causing the radio to be on and draining the battery. The only problem is I don't have onstar.

I had the same problem in a 1997 SC2.  Turns out that finicky/broken door lock/unlock switches were causing an intermittent short.
I removed the 20A fuses to these locks in the switch panel under the radio.  Problem fixed.

I have a 2001 Saturn sc2. I left my lights on over night and the car wouldn't start. I had someone try and jump my car but it would fire up. The head lights and interior lights come on but the radio...

How old is the battery? If over 3 years it may take a prolonged amount of time to recover from a complete drain. There's a chance that the battery will never charge again too.

Something is draining my battery 134,000 M

IT costs nothing to have a load test done on the battery to check for a dead cell which your problems point to. While the engine is running the alternator will be handling the power requirement but the battery will not supply the power required to start.

Have no electrical power

Someone will need to check the fuses and fuseable links (if equipped) to see what is dead and why. Could be a fuse or a bad connection at the battery or fuse box.

1997 Saturn SC2 won't start; not even when jump started. New battery, alternator load tested fine; starter was replaced eight months ago without any issues-don't think anything was wrong with it...

Auto or manual? If its auto try puting it in neutral and try starting. If manual than try pushing the clutch all the way to the floor. There is a switch on thr pedal that when pressed it enganges the starter.

Help! I have 98 Saturn SL2 that was live one minute dead the next

Sounds exactly like my 1999 SL2 which had "burning and arching" in the fuse box. Car one day be fine the next I'd take it to the store, come back in 10 minutes and wouldn't start, no radio, no power windows, no keyless entry remote, no rear defrost and even locking doors from inside power buttons it sounded odd. This fixed the problem by replacing the fuse box.
