I have the same thing happening to me. I just bought the car 3 weeks ago and it ran fine for 4 days and started doing this. The check engine light came on and they said it was the knock sensor and the coolant sensor along with the emissions sensor. I don't know. I need help too before I give the car back to the place i'm buying it from and take it as a loss of my money. Nice car....Too many problems!!!

When making a left turn at slow speed with the foot not on the accelerator, the car will stall when pressure is applied to the accelerator. The stalling goes away when the wheels are straightened.

Car go in reverse and drive but stalls

Without more information... The RPM slows down when it is put in gear. Try applying brake and some gas pedal to keep rpm up some and see if it still stalls. If it keeps running maybe the idle speed is too low or a spark plug fouling

PROTON gen 2 manual keeps stalling when slowing down EML, battery and oil lights come on but no diagnostic report what can i do

check for a vacuum leak to the brake booster as it appears that the fuel/air mixture is going too lean to keep the engine running.

Most common problem is the IAC(Idle Air Control) valve. But if you say some times work I will suspect the throttle is clogged. Remove the Air hose, apply full throttle and hold, spray carburetor cleaner on clot using thin long nose player clean inside wall and throttle. don't spray directly inside because the carb cleaner is to aggressive for some of the gasket.

If you have the foot on the brake when stopping and it stalls , try slowing down and stopping on the hand brake to see if the engine stalls . If it doesn't stall on the hand brake then I would suspect a leak in the brake booster that is affecting the engine by letting air into the manifold through the activated booster. If there is no difference have the fault codes read as there may be a missing/ faulty vacuum line connected to a actuator in the gear box.

Stalls at stop light and rush hour traffic

disconnect the vacuum line to the brake booster and plug off to the engine. run the engine and apply the brakes and see if it still cuts out. If not the reattach the vacuum hose and re apply the brakes . If there is a stall then replace the brake booster as there is a fault in it that is allowing air into the manifold on brake application. This problem is not connected to the CPU by sensor so no faults would be recorded.

Engine stalls when brakes applied

Sounds like you have a vacuum leak. Do you also hear any other noises when you push the brakes?
