Removing Factory radio

My wife's 2000 kia sephia's radio is toast. I was trying to figure out how I could take it out and install a new radio. I would really appriciate any advice I could get. Specifically, I am having trouble figuring out where to begin in order to get it out.

Radio turns on and off at free will - can you

You have a loose connection at the harness at the back of the radio. Only 3 possible wires that could be loose its the ground wire, 12volt wire or the ignition wire. colors are usually red-ignition yellow-12volt black-ground. Make sure those wires are connected real good!! with tape or solder the wires together.

The dome light in my 2000 kia sephia will not work nor will the lights on my radio. Where is the fuse to control these and are they both on the same fuse?

most the time the cigerette lighter fuse has blwon. that fuse goes for radio and probably int. light.some fuses feed other fuses so cig lighter fuse does not have a label that says radio. check all the fuses anytime you check for elect. problems
